Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، (١) حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ (٢) صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ، وَلَا صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying in a house that Allah Almighty does not accept prayer without purification, nor charity from misappropriated spoils of war.
