Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أُمِرْتُ بِرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى، وَبِالْوَتْرِ وَلَمْ يُكْتَبْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that when the Prophet (ﷺ) recited
"Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High" [al-A’la 87:1], he would say: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
