حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ: أُرَاهُ قَالَ:، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ آتَاهُ اللهُ رِزْقًا مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ "، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: سَأَلْتُ أَبِي: مَا الْإِشْرَافُ؟ قَالَ: " تَقُولُ فِي نَفْسِكَ، ، سَيَبْعَثُ إِلَيَّ فُلَانٌ سَيَصِلُنِي فُلَانٌ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated, most likely as marfu’, from Aiz (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever receives something from his sustenance without asking for it, he should accept it.
