حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا شِمْرٍ الضُّبَعِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِذَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، قُلْتُ لِيَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ: الْمُزَنِيِّ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ "، إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَهَى عَنِ الْحَنْتَمِ، وَالدُّبَّاءِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aiz bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade (the use of) dubba', hantam, muzaffat, and naqir.
