Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ، (٢) عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Samrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever commits looting is not one of us.
