Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الْأَغَرِّ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ جَدَّهُ " أَسْلَمَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Qais bin Asim that when he accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed him to bathe with water and lote tree leaves and then come.
