Original Arabic
وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكَرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَيَرِدَنَّ، ، الْحَوْضَ عَلَيَّ رِجَالٌ مِمَّنْ صَحِبَنِي وَرَآنِي، فَإِذَا رُفِعُوا إِلَيَّ وَرَأَيْتُهُمْ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي، فَلَأَقُولَنَّ: أُصَيْحَابِي أُصَيْحَابِي، (١) فَيُقَالُ: إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ " (٢)، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Some people will come to me at the Pond of Kawthar. [I will say:] "O Lord! My companions!" It will be said: "You do not know what new things they invented after you."
