حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ إِلَى ابْنٍ لَهُ، وَكَانَ قَاضِيًا بِسِجِسْتَانَ: أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَلَا تَحْكُمَنَّ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَنْتَ غَضْبَانُ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا يَحْكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: No ruler should decide between two people while he is angry.
