حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي فُضَيْلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَى أَبُو بَكَرَةَ نَاسًا يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّهُمْ لَيُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةً مَا صَلَّاهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَا عَامَّةُ أَصْحَابِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakrah reports that once Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some people performing the Duha prayer, so he said: "They are performing a prayer which neither the Prophet (ﷺ) performed nor did most of his companions."
