Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) during the Farewell Pilgrimage was mounted on his camel and while delivering the sermon, said: "Do you know what day it is today?" Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith, and at the end said: "Those of you who are present should convey this message to those who are absent, because sometimes the one to whom the message is conveyed preserves it better than the one who hears it." Then, while still mounted on his camel, the Prophet (ﷺ) proceeded towards the goats and began distributing them among the people, giving one goat to two men or one goat to three men.
