Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) once said: "A group from my Ummah will settle in a region called Basrah. On one side of it flows the river Dijlah (Tigris), and it is a land with many gardens. There, the Banu Qantura (Turks) will come and settle. Then the people will be divided into three groups: one group will join their origin and they will be destroyed; one group will transgress against themselves and disbelieve; and one group will fight, leaving their children behind. Their slain will be martyrs, and through the remaining people of this group, victory will be granted to the Muslims." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
