حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: ذَكَرْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ عِنْدَ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَنَا بِمُلْتَمِسِهَا بَعْدَمَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا فِي عَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فِي الْوِتْرِ، ، مِنْهُ " (١) قَالَ: فَكَانَ أَبُو بَكَرَةَ " يُصَلِّي فِي الْعِشْرِينَ (٢) مِنْ رَمَضَانَ كَصَلَاتِهِ فِي سَائِرِ السَّنَةِ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْعَشْرُ اجْتَهَدَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Abdur Rahman narrates that once the mention of Laylat al-Qadr was made in the presence of Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: I will seek it only in the last ten nights because I heard something from the Prophet (ﷺ) regarding it. I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan—on the 21st, 23rd, 25th, or 27th night, or on the last night.
