Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ، حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَجِدَ رِيحَهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him): Whoever unjustly kills a Mu'ahid (a non-Muslim under Muslim protection), Allah makes the fragrance of Paradise forbidden for him.
