English translation
Anas bin Malik, who was from Banu Abdullah bin Ka'b, says that the horsemen attacked us at night at the house of the Prophet (ﷺ). I came to inform the Prophet (ﷺ) about it, and the Prophet (ﷺ) was having breakfast. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Come and eat." I submitted, "I am fasting." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Sit down, I will tell you about fasting. Allah has excused the traveler from half the prayer, and has excused the traveler, pregnant woman, and nursing woman from fasting." By Allah, the Prophet (ﷺ) said both these things or one of them. Alas, why did I not eat the food of the Prophet (ﷺ).
