Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that there was a well-known person in the tribe of Thaqif whose one eye did not function; his real name was Zuhair bin Uthman. He says that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The wedding feast (walimah) is a right; the second meal is a good deed; and feeding on the third day is for fame and show.
