حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ جَمِيلٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَطَاءً، وَابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، وَعِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ، " يَرْمُونَ الْجَمْرَةَ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ " (٢) ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبِي: يَا أَبَا سُلَيْمَانَ، فِي، ، أَيِّ سَنَةٍ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُمَرَ؟ قَالَ: " سَنَةَ تِسْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةَ، وَقْعَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Narrated to us Dawud ibn Amr, narrated to us Nafi‘ ibn ‘Umar ibn Jamil al-Jumahi, he said: I saw ‘Ata’, Ibn Abi Mulaykah, and ‘Ikrimah ibn Khalid throwing the jamrah before dawn on the Day of Sacrifice. ‘Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father said to him: O Abu Sulayman, in which year did you hear from Nafi‘ ibn ‘Umar? He said: In the year sixty-nine and one hundred, the year of the incident of al-Husayn.
