حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عُرَاةً حُفَاةً غُرْلًا، فَأَوَّلُ مَنْ يُكْسَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاةُ وَالسَّلامُ "، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: {كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ} (٢) [الأنبياء: ١٠٤]،
Translation
English translation
Salamah bin Kuhail said: I heard Abul-Hakam say: I asked Ibn 'Abbas about nabeedh made in earthenware vessels and he said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade nabeedh made in earthenware vessels and gourds. And he said: Whoever would like to regard as haram what Allah and His Messenger forbade, let him regard nabeedh as haram.
