Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " صَلَاةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By 'Salat al-Wusta' is meant the Asr prayer."
