Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " تُوشِكُونَ (٣) أَنْ يَمْلَأَ اللهُ أَيْدِيَكُمْ مِنَ الْعَجَمِ، ثُمَّ يَكُونُوا أُسْدًا لَا يَفِرُّونَ، فَيَقْتُلُونَ مُقَاتِلَتَكُمْ، وَيَأْكُلُونَ فَيْئَكُمْ "، (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Soon Allah will fill your hands with the non-Arabs, then they will become such lions who do not flee from the battlefield. They will kill your warriors and consume your spoils of war.
