حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَرَوْحٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " هِيَ الْعَصْرُ "، قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: سُئِلَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "What is meant by 'Salat al-Wusta'?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "The Asr prayer."
