حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ (٢) : وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا - أَوْ عَرْقًا - فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn "Abbas that a sheep belonging to Maimoonah died, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Why don"t you make use of its skin? Why don"t you tan it, because that will purify it?”
