حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ (٣) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ اسْتَأْذَنَهُ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ،، ، وقَالَ: " يَا أَخِي، لَا تَنْسَنَا مِنْ (١) دُعَائِكَ " وَقَالَ بَعْدُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ: " يَا أَخِي، أَشْرِكْنَا فِي دُعَائِكَ ". فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بِهَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ، لِقَوْلِهِ: " يَا أَخِي " (٢) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Umar that he asked the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ for permission to do 'Umrah and he gave him permission and said:
`O my brother, do not forget us in your supplication.` And he said later in Madinah: `O my brother, include us in your supplication.` ʼUmar said: I would not like to have instead of that everything on which the sun rises, because of him saying: `O my brother.”
