Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that I married a woman. After that, a black woman came to us and said, "I have suckled both of you (therefore, you are foster brother and sister and this marriage is not valid)." I went to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and said, "I have married the daughter of so-and-so. After the marriage, a black woman came to us and said, 'I have suckled both of you,' even though she is lying." The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) turned his face away from this. I came from the front and said the same thing again, that she is lying. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "How can you stay with this woman when that black woman claims she has suckled both of you? Leave her."
