حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " أُمِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ، وَنُهِيَ أَنْ يَكُفَّ شَعَرَهُ وَثِيَابَهُ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Tawoos said: I heard Ibn "Abbas say:

As for what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade to be sold before possession was taken of it, that is food. And Ibn "Abbas stated his opinion: I think everything is like that.
