Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ (٢) : " أَنَا مِمَّنْ قَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فِي ضَعَفَةِ أَهْلِهِ "، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: " إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَدَّمَ ضَعَفَةَ أَهْلِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) only trotted (raml) around the Ka"bah in order to show the mushrikeen his strength.
