حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي (١) حُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " وَلا تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn "Abbas concerning the words of Allah,ihra

"And We made not the vision which we showed you (O Muhammad as an actual eye witness and not as a dream on the night of Al-Isrā") but a trial for mankind" (al-Isra" 17:60), that he said: It is something that the Prophet (ﷺ) saw with his own eyes on the night on which he was taken on the Night Journey (Isra").
