حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِيَادٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ،، ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَنَحْنُ فِي الصَّفِّ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَخَلَ فِي الصَّفِّ فَقَالَ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا، قَالَ: فَرَفَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَاسْتَنْكَرُوا الرَّجُلَ، وَقَالُوا: مَنِ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ هَذَا الْعَالِي الصَّوْتَ؟ " فَقِيلَ: هُوَ ذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: " وَاللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ كَلَامَكَ يَصْعَدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ حَتَّى فُتِحَ بَابٌ، فَدَخَلَ فِيهِ ". Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were standing in a row behind the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) performing prayer, when a man came and joined the row and said, "Allahu Akbar Kabira, wa Subhan Allah bukratan wa aseela." At this, the Muslims began to raise their heads and disliked this person, thinking in their hearts, "Who is this man who is raising his voice above the voice of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)?" When the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) finished the prayer, he said, "Who is the one with the loud voice?" It was told, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! It is this person." The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "By Allah! I saw that your words ascended to the heavens until a door was opened and they entered it." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
