Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي الشَّيْبَانِيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys.
