حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدًا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ: " اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَاءِ، (١) وَمِلْءَ الْأَرْضِ " قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: " مِلْءَ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِلْءَ الْأَرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ "، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عِصْمَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو إِذَا رَفَعَ، ، رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: O Allah, all praise is for You alone, equal to the fullness of the heavens and the earth, and equal to the fullness of whatever else You will. It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would raise his head from bowing (ruku), he would supplicate.
