حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: " غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُ فِيهَا الْجَرَادَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that we participated in seven battles along with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and in those battles we used to eat locusts.
