English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest day in the sight of Allah is the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, then the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah. And five or six camels were presented before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) for sacrifice, each of them trying to get closer to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) so that he would slaughter it first. When the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had slaughtered them, he softly said a sentence which I could not understand. I asked the person next to me, and he told me the sentence: "Whoever wishes, may slaughter."
