حَدِيثُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ (١) بْنِ أَسْلَمَ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)، ١٩٠٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ لِجَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ: " أَشْبَهْتَ خَلْقِي وَخُلُقِي " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubaidullah bin Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a freed slave of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) used to say to Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), "You resemble me in both physical appearance and character."
