حَدِيثُ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ أَسْعَدَ (١)، ١٩٠٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ، أَنَّ جَدَّهُ عَرْفَجَةَ أُصِيبَ أَنْفُهُ يَوْمَ الْكُلَابِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَاتَّخَذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَأَنْتَنَ عَلَيْهِ، " فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ "، قَالَ يَزِيدُ: فَقِيلَ لِأَبِي الْأَشْهَبِ: أَدْرَكَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ جَدَّهُ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdur Rahman bin Tarafah narrates that his grandfather, Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him), lost his nose on the occasion of "Yawm Kalab" during the time of ignorance. He had a nose made of silver, but it developed a bad smell, so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) permitted him to have a nose made of gold.
