حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَنَّ سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ، فَلَمْ تَمْكُثْ إِلَّا لَيَالِيَ حَتَّى وَضَعَتْ، فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا خُطِبَتْ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي النِّكَاحِ، " فَأَذِنَ لَهَا أَنْ تَنْكِحَ " فَنَكَحَتْ، (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Miswar bin Makhrama (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sabi’ah gave birth to a child just a few days after her husband’s death, and she began to prepare for another marriage. She sought permission from the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to marry, and the Prophet (ﷺ) granted her permission, so she married again. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
