Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ka'b bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), "At which part of the night is supplication most accepted?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "In the last part of the night, then prayers are accepted until the Fajr prayer. After the Fajr prayer, there is no prayer until the sun rises to the height of one or two spears, then prayers are accepted until the shadow becomes equal to one spear, then there is no prayer until the sun passes its zenith, then prayers are accepted until the sun becomes equal to one or two spears, then there is no prayer until sunset." And he said, "When you wash your face, the sins of the face are washed away; when you wash your hands, the sins of the hands are washed away; and when you wash your feet, the sins of the feet are washed away."
