حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْمَعْنَى، وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ: عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ (٢) ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " قَرَأَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَوَاتٍ، وَسَكَتَ فَنَقْرَأُ فِيمَا قَرَأَ فِيهِنَّ نَبِيُّ اللهِ، وَنَسْكُتُ فِيمَا سَكَتَ "، فَقِيلَ لَهُ فَلَعَلَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي نَفْسِهِ، فَغَضِبَ مِنْهَا، وَقَالَ: أَيُتَّهَمُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: " أَتَتَّهِمُ رَسُولَ اللهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"The previously married woman has more right to decide concerning herself than her guardian, and the virgin should be consulted concerning her marriage, and her permission is her silence.”
