Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيِّ وَهُوَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ وَالنُّهْبَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Yazid Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade looting and mutilation of bodies or limbs.
