Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ،، ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ، وَيَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) intended to sleep, he would make his right hand a pillow and recite this supplication: O Allah! On the day You gather Your servants, protect me from Your punishment.
