حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ، بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى تَكُونَ إِبْهَامَاهُ (١) حِذَاءَ أُذُنَيْهِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) raising his hands at the beginning of the prayer, and at that time the Prophet’s (ﷺ) thumbs were in line with his earlobes.
