حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مِنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةَ وَرِقٍ أَوْ مَنِيحَةَ لَبَنٍ، أَوْ هَدَى زُقَاقًا، كَانَ لَهُ كَعَدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ " وَقالَ مَرَّةً: " كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever gives a gift to someone, such as silver or gold, or gives someone milk to drink, or gives someone a water-skin, it is as if he has freed a slave.
