Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِحَسَّانَ: " هَاجِهِمْ أَوْ اهْجُهُمْ، فَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ مَعَكَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him): Satirize the polytheists, Gabriel is with you.
