Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُسْرَةَ،، ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بِضْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً، فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ تَرَكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ تَمِيلُ الشَّمْسُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that I accompanied the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) on more than ten journeys of jihad. I never saw him abandon the two rak‘ahs before Zuhr.
