Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ، فَأَحِبَّهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once had Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) on his shoulder and was saying: O Allah, I love him, so You also love him.
