Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، (١) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَهُوَ يَحْمِلُ التُّرَابَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Affan narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from Al-Bara', he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of the Trench, and he was carrying the earth, and he mentioned something similar to it.
