حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِمَّا أَحَبَّ، أَوْ مِمَّا تُحِبُّ، أَنْ نَقُومَ (١) عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " رَبِّ (٢) قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ " أَوْ "، ، تَجْمَعُ عِبَادَكَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when we used to pray behind the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), we considered it good to stand on the right side of the Prophet (ﷺ), and I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: “O Lord! On the day when You gather Your servants, keep me safe from Your punishment.” The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
