حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ يَثْرِبَ، فَلْيَسْتَغْفِرِ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، هِيَ طَابَةُ هِيَ طَابَةُ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever calls Madinah by the name of Yathrib should seek forgiveness from Allah; it is Taabah, Taabah (pure).
