حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِلْبَرَاءِ: أَكَانَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيدًا هَكَذَا مِثْلَ السَّيْفِ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، بَلْ كَانَ مِثْلَ الْقَمَرِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

Abu Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once someone asked Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the blessed face of the Prophet (ﷺ) was shining like a sword. He replied, "No, rather it was shining like the moon."
