قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ، (١) حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: " مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرِ الْقَلِيلَ، لَمْ يَشْكُرِ الْكَثِيرَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرِ النَّاسَ، لَمْ يَشْكُرِ اللهَ. التَّحَدُّثُ بِنِعْمَةِ اللهِ شُكْرٌ، وَتَرْكُهَا كُفْرٌ، وَالْجَمَاعَةُ رَحْمَةٌ، وَالْفُرْقَةُ عَذَابٌ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) once said from the pulpit: "He who does not thank for a little, does not thank for much. He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah. Mentioning the blessings and favors of Allah is gratitude; neglecting them is ingratitude. Unity is mercy and division is punishment."
