حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، وَزَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، وَفِطْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ بَشِيرًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْحَلَ النُّعْمَانَ نُحْلًا قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ وَلَدٍ سِوَاهُ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَكُلَّهُمْ أَعْطَيْتَ مَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ؟ " قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ فِطْرٌ: فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: هَكَذَا أَيْ: " سَوِّ بَيْنَهُمْ " وَقَالَ زَكَرِيَّا، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ: " لَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَى جَوْرٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father gave him a gift. My father went to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Do you have other sons as well?" He said, "Yes." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Have you given all your sons the same as you have given to him?" He said, "No." So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) refused to become a witness to it.
