Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَازِبٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ فِي شَهَادَةٍ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ،: " كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خَطَأٌ، إِلَّا السَّيْفَ، وَفِي كُلِّ خَطَإٍ أَرْشٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Every thing has an error except the sword, and for every error there is compensation.
